Please note, All Saturday weddings between May to October have a minimum person booking of Bride + 2 (or payment of equivalent)

Brides

1. Definitions

The Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the booking form.
Makeup Artist: Caroline Kent.
The Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and the makeup artist for the agreed fee.
The fee: The amount payable by the client to the makeup artist for the services listed above.
The event: Relates in principal to the date whereby the event the wedding takes place. 
The party: Additional members of the bridal party.

2. Securing the booking of the event

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has completed and submitted the online Booking form (found by clicking here) and paid the non-refundable deposit of £50.00 to the makeup artist. Arranging a trial without paying a deposit does not reserve the makeup artist's services for the event.

Please Note: I cannot secure your booking without a deposit. Your £50 deposit will be deducted from your final balance.

3. Payment

Trial.

Payment for your trial is payable on the day of your trial either in cash or by bank transfer.

Travel fees will apply over a 10 mile radius from my location.

Final Payment

The final balance is required to be paid in full either a week before the event by bank transfer or in cash on the day.

If any further people in the party require make up application on the day of the event without prior booking, the payment will be due immediately on that day, upon completion.

4. Responsibility of the client

The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. If the client has an allergic reaction, the makeup artist cannot be held responsible. 

The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behavior.

Cancellations.

The client at any point in writing can cancel the event.

The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will be liable for any further payments under the following conditions:

  1. If the client cancels no less than 12 weeks before the event date then no further payment is required.
  2. If the client cancels no less than 8 weeks before the event date then a further 50% of the event fee will be due.
  3. If the client cancels no less than 4 weeks before the event date then the full amount of the event fee will be due.

The client can cancel a trial at any point however a trial cancelled with less then 24 hours notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.

Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the makeup artists performance of their obligations where no other suitable alternative can be given, a full refund will be given to the client. No further compensation will be offered.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the makeup artist where possible the makeup artist will endeavor to rectify such situations however no compensation will be offered on the makeup artists part. It is strongly advised you take out wedding insurance to cover you against these situations.

Travel Expenses

The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking this is to include should it be required congestion charging and parking charges.

By financially securing your deposit you accept these terms of contract.


Fashion and Editorial Work

Payment terms strictly thirty days from invoice date. In line with The Late Payment of Commercial Debt (Interest) Act (1988) The makeup artist will exercise their statutory right to interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if not paid according to agreed credit terms.
